The Pike County Library Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, governed by a Board of seven trustees, and created to support the work and advance the mission of the Garnet A. Wilson Public Library.
The mission of a public library foundation is to advocate for the library and its mission of Educate. Inspire. Enjoy. to the community, government officials, and other stakeholders. We encourage building partnerships and collaborations with individuals, organizations and businesses to enhance the library's impact in the county and on its residents.
The library is a vital community institution, and a new and modern facility is of the utmost importance. Our current focus is to assist in the fundraising efforts for a new main library in Waverly, supporting The Next Chapter capital campaign is the most effective and efficient ways possible.
